Beviprex Inhaler is a dual-action bronchodilator combination containing Glycopyrronium Bromide (9 mcg) and Formoterol Fumarate (4.8 mcg) per metered actuation. It pairs a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) with a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) to relax airway smooth muscles, keep the bronchial passages open, and decrease breathing difficulties.
Long-term maintenance treatment of airflow obstruction in patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema
Reduction and prevention of COPD exacerbations (flare-ups)
Improvement of exercise tolerance and overall lung function in chronic obstructive conditions
Adults: The standard maintenance dose is typically 2 inhalations (puffs) twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening.
Important Note: This is a maintenance medication and should not be used as a rescue inhaler for sudden, acute attacks of breathlessness.
Children: Safety and efficacy have not been established for pediatric patients.
