ROLIP 5mg Tablet contains Atorvastatin 5 mg. It is a statin (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor) medicine used to lower cholesterol levels in the blood. It works by reducing cholesterol production in the liver and helps decrease the risk of cardiovascular complications.
Uses:
Treatment of high cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia).
Reduction of LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglyceride levels.
Increase of HDL (good cholesterol) levels.
Management of mixed dyslipidemia.
Prevention of heart attack and stroke in patients with increased cardiovascular risk.
Management of inherited high cholesterol conditions under medical supervision.
Dose:
Adults: Usually 5–80 mg once daily or as directed by a physician.
Take the tablet once daily, with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
Dose may be adjusted according to cholesterol levels and treatment response.
Regular monitoring of lipid profile and liver function tests may be required.
Inform the doctor if you experience unexplained muscle pain, weakness, or unusual symptoms.
