ALLERTIN 20 mg contains Bilastine 20 mg. It is a second-generation antihistamine medicine used to relieve allergy symptoms by blocking the action of histamine in the body.
Uses:
- Treatment of allergic rhinitis (hay fever)
- Relief of sneezing, runny nose, nasal itching, and nasal congestion
- Treatment of chronic urticaria (hives)
- Relief of itching and skin allergy symptoms
Dose:
- Adults: Usually 20 mg once daily, or as directed by a physician
- Take the medicine on an empty stomach, preferably 1 hour before or 2 hours after food
- Avoid taking with fruit juices as they may reduce absorption
- Dose and duration depend on the patient's condition and response to treatment
