MATROPIN 2% Eye drop 10ml contains Homatropine Hydrobromide 2%. It is an anticholinergic eye medicine used to dilate the pupil and temporarily relax the focusing muscles of the eye.
Uses:
Eye examination by an ophthalmologist.
Treatment of eye inflammation such as iritis and uveitis.
Helps reduce pain caused by spasms of the eye muscles.
Prevents formation of adhesions between the iris and lens during eye inflammation.
Dose:
Adults and children: Usually 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) as directed by a physician.
Use only under the supervision of an eye specialist.
Wash hands before applying the eye drops.
Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or surrounding area.
Dose and duration depend on the patient's eye condition and response to treatment.
