Active Ingredient: Vinpocetine (5mg).
What it does: Acts as a cerebral vasodilator and neuroprotective agent.
Prescribed for: Acute and chronic cerebral circulatory disorders (such as post-stroke recovery, multi-infarct dementia, and memory impairment), as well as vascular-related hearing issues (tinnitus, vertigo) and visual disorders.
Standard Regimen: Typically 1 to 2 tablets taken 3 times daily.
Important Rules: Best taken with or after meals with a full glass of water.
Surgery Warning: Since Vinpocetine can inhibit platelet aggregation and thin the blood, stop taking it at least 2 weeks before any scheduled surgery or dental procedures.
Pregnancy & Lactation Contraindication: Do not use if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, as it may cause harm to the fetus.
Mild, temporary drops in blood pressure (hypotension) or a slightly fast heartbeat (tachycardia).
Headache, dizziness, sleep disturbances, or mild digestive discomfort.
Interaction Alert: Use caution if taking prescription blood thinners (like Warfarin or Heparin), as Vinpocetine may interact and increase bleeding risks.
