PERMIN 5% Cream is a topical cream containing permethrin 5%. It is an antiparasitic medicine used to treat scabies caused by Sarcoptes scabiei mites.

Uses:

Treatment of scabies (mite infestation)
Eliminates scabies mites and their eggs
Helps relieve itching and skin irritation associated with scabies

Dose:

Apply a thin layer of cream to the entire body from the neck down (including the scalp in infants and elderly patients) or as directed by a physician
Leave the cream on for 8–14 hours, then wash it off thoroughly
A second application may be required after 7–14 days if advised by a physician
