KETOCON 2% Shampoo 100ml contains Ketoconazole 2%. It is an antifungal shampoo used for the treatment and prevention of fungal scalp infections, dandruff, and seborrheic dermatitis.

Uses:

Treatment of dandruff (pityriasis capitis).
Treatment of seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp.
Treatment and prevention of pityriasis versicolor caused by Malassezia yeast.
Relief of scalp itching, flaking, and scaling associated with fungal infections.

Dose:

Apply the shampoo to the affected scalp, leave it on for 3–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
For dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis, it is usually used twice weekly for 2–4 weeks, or as prescribed by a physician.
For prevention of recurrence, it may be used once weekly or once every two weeks.
The frequency and duration of treatment should be adjusted according to the patient's condition and the physician's advice.
