Description:
NITRO 400mcg Spray contains Glyceryl Trinitrate (Nitroglycerin) 400 mcg per spray. It is a nitrate vasodilator used to relieve and prevent chest pain (angina) by relaxing and widening blood vessels.
Uses:
- Provides rapid relief from angina (chest pain due to reduced blood flow to the heart)
- Helps prevent angina attacks before activities that may trigger chest pain
- Reduces the workload on the heart by improving blood flow
Dose:
- Usually 1 spray under the tongue at the onset of chest pain or as directed by your doctor
- Do not inhale the spray; allow it to absorb under the tongue
- Sit down before using to reduce the risk of dizziness or fainting
- Do not use more than the prescribed amount
- Seek medical help if chest pain does not improve as advised by your doctor
Important:
Do not use with PDE-5 inhibitor medicines (such as sildenafil/tadalafil) unless specifically approved by a doctor, as this combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
