OPEXA ODT 10mg contains Olanzapine 10 mg (Orally Disintegrating Tablet). It is an atypical antipsychotic medicine used to treat certain mental health disorders by helping restore the balance of neurotransmitters in the brain.
Uses:
Treatment of schizophrenia.
Treatment of bipolar disorder, including manic or mixed episodes.
Maintenance treatment to help prevent recurrence of bipolar disorder.
Helps reduce symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, agitation, mood changes, and disturbed thinking.
Dose:
Adults: Usually 5–10 mg once daily, adjusted according to the patient's condition and response as directed by a physician.
Place the orally disintegrating tablet on the tongue and allow it to dissolve before swallowing; it may be taken with or without water.
Take the medicine exactly as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
It may be taken with or without food.
Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly without medical advice.
