Description:
PARKIFEN 2mg Tablet contains Trihexyphenidyl Hydrochloride 2 mg. It is an anticholinergic antiparkinsonian medicine used to treat Parkinson's disease and movement disorders caused by certain medications.
Uses:
- Treats symptoms of Parkinson's disease
- Reduces tremors, muscle stiffness, and rigidity
- Treats drug-induced extrapyramidal symptoms (movement disorders)
- Helps improve movement and muscle control
Dose:
- Usually 1–2 mg once or twice daily, gradually adjusted as prescribed by your doctor
- Take with or after food if stomach upset occurs
- Do not stop the medicine suddenly without medical advice
- Duration depends on the condition and your doctor's advice
