RONEM 500 mg IV INJ. contains Meropenem 500 mg. It is a broad-spectrum carbapenem antibiotic used to treat serious bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial growth.

Uses:

Treatment of severe bacterial infections
Management of pneumonia, including hospital-acquired pneumonia
Treatment of complicated urinary tract infections (UTI)
Treatment of intra-abdominal infections
Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections
Treatment of meningitis (as prescribed)
Used for infections caused by susceptible or resistant bacteria

Dose:

Adults: Usually 500 mg–1 g intravenously every 8 hours or as directed by a physician.
