OSTAN 25mg Tablet contains Losartan Potassium 25 mg. It is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) used to lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily.

Uses:

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).
Helps reduce the risk of stroke in certain patients with hypertension.
Treatment of diabetic nephropathy (kidney disease associated with type 2 diabetes).
Management of heart failure in selected patients.
Helps protect the heart and kidneys in patients with hypertension.

Dose:

Adults: Usually 25–50 mg once daily, or as directed by a physician.
The dose may be adjusted based on the patient's condition, kidney function, and response to treatment.
Take the tablet with or without food.
Take the medicine at the same time each day for the best effect.
Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and potassium levels may be required during treatment.
Do not stop or change the dose without medical advice.
