CARDIPIN 5 mg TABLET contains Amlodipine Besilate 5 mg. It is a calcium channel blocker (dihydropyridine class) medicine used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (heart-related chest pain).

Uses:

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
Management of chronic stable angina
Treatment of vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina
Helps relax blood vessels and improve blood flow to reduce heart workload

Dose:

Usually 5 mg once daily, or as prescribed by the physician
Dose may be increased up to 10 mg once daily if needed
Can be taken with or without food
Take the tablet at the same time each day for best results; dose should be adjusted according to the patient's condition and response to treatment
