ALGIN 5mg/2ml IV/IM INjection contains Tiemonium Methylsulfate 5 mg/2 ml. It is an antispasmodic (anticholinergic) medicine used to relieve pain caused by spasms of the digestive, biliary, urinary, and uterine smooth muscles.

Uses:

Relief of acute abdominal cramps and intestinal spasms
Treatment of biliary tract spasms and biliary colic
Relief of urinary tract and bladder spasms
Management of painful uterine spasms and dysmenorrhea

Dose:

Usually 1 ampoule (5 mg/2 ml) by slow IV or IM injection, or as prescribed by the physician
May be administered up to 3 times daily depending on the patient's condition
Should be administered only by a healthcare professional
