Description:
APIXAN 5mg Tablet contains Apixaban 5 mg. It is an oral anticoagulant (Factor Xa inhibitor) used to prevent and treat blood clots.
Uses:
Prevents stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation
Treats deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
Treats pulmonary embolism (PE)
Prevents blood clots after hip or knee replacement surgery
Dose:
Usually 5 mg twice daily or as prescribed by your doctor
Can be taken with or without food
Take at the same time each day
