Description:
TELCARDIS 80mg Tablet contains Telmisartan 80 mg. It is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) used to treat high blood pressure and protect the heart and kidneys in certain patients.
Uses:
- Hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Reduces the risk of cardiovascular events in high-risk patients
- Helps protect kidney function in some diabetic patients with hypertension
- Heart failure management (as prescribed)
Dose:
- Usually 40–80 mg once daily or as directed by a doctor.
- Can be taken with or without food.
- Swallow the tablet whole with water.
- Monitor blood pressure regularly.
- Do not stop taking it suddenly without medical advice.
