DUTAMAX 0.5 mg Capsule contains Dutasteride 0.5 mg, a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor medicine used mainly for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a condition where the prostate gland becomes enlarged. (Medex)
Dutasteride works by blocking the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone responsible for prostate enlargement.

Adults (men): Usually 0.5 mg once daily or as prescribed by a physician

Can be taken with or without food
Do not crush, chew, or open the capsule
Take regularly at the same time each day
Continue treatment as advised by your doctor
Decreased sexual desire (low libido)
