IMIGRA 5 mg contains Rizatriptan 5 mg. It is a selective serotonin (5-HT1B/1D) receptor agonist medicine used for the acute treatment of migraine attacks by reducing migraine-related blood vessel changes and pain signals.
Uses:
Acute treatment of migraine attacks with or without aura
Relief of migraine headache
Reduction of migraine-associated symptoms such as nausea, light sensitivity, and sound sensitivity
Dose:
Adults: Usually 5 mg at the onset of migraine symptoms, or as directed by a physician
A second dose may be taken after at least 2 hours if symptoms return and as advised
Do not exceed the maximum recommended daily dose prescribed by a physician
Use only for migraine attacks and not for migraine prevention
Dose may be adjusted according to the patient's condition and response to treatment
