POLYCEF 125mg/5ml Suspension 100ml contains Cephradine 125 mg/5 ml. It is a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis and preventing bacterial growth.

Uses:

Treatment of respiratory tract infections (such as bronchitis and pneumonia).
Treatment of ear, nose, and throat (ENT) infections, including tonsillitis, pharyngitis, and otitis media.
Treatment of urinary tract infections (UTIs).
Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections.
Treatment of other susceptible bacterial infections as prescribed by a physician.

Dose:

Children: Dose is based on body weight, usually 25–50 mg/kg/day in divided doses every 6–12 hours, or as directed by a physician.
Shake the suspension well before each use.
Measure the dose accurately using the provided measuring cup, spoon, or oral syringe.
Can be taken with or without food.
Complete the full course of treatment even if symptoms improve.
Do not stop or change the dose without medical advice.
