Treatment of mild to moderate gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and associated heartburn
Maintenance therapy for healed erosive esophagitis to prevent recurrence
Management of acid-related dyspepsia and hyperacidity
Healing and prevention of minor gastric or duodenal ulcers
Adults: Typically 1 tablet (2.5 mg) taken once daily in the morning, swallowed whole at least 30 minutes before breakfast. Do not crush or chew the extended-release tablet.
Children: Safety and efficacy have not been established for pediatric patients.
Use as prescribed by a physician.
