LOSART PLUS is a combination medicine containing losartan potassium (100 mg) and hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg). It is used to control high blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and removing excess salt and water from the body.
Uses:
- Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension)
- Reducing risk of stroke and heart complications
- Managing fluid retention associated with hypertension
- Supporting kidney protection in certain patients
Dose:
- Usually 1 tablet once daily or as prescribed by a physician
- Can be taken with or without food
- Take at the same time each day for best control
- Dose may be adjusted based on blood pressure response
