ALGIN 50 mg TABLET contains Tiemonium Methylsulfate 50 mg. It is an antispasmodic (anticholinergic) medicine used to relieve pain caused by spasms of the digestive, biliary, urinary, and uterine smooth muscles.

Uses:

Relief of abdominal cramps and intestinal spasms
Treatment of biliary tract spasms and biliary colic
Relief of urinary tract and bladder spasms
Management of painful uterine spasms and dysmenorrhea

Dose:

Usually 2 to 6 tablets daily in divided doses, or as prescribed by the physician
Can be taken with or without food
Swallow the tablet whole with water
Dose and duration should be adjusted according to the patient's condition and response to treatment
