Symptomatic Relief of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS): Prescribed to manage the core symptoms of IBS, including painful stomach cramps, persistent bloating, gas, and unpredictable bowel habits (like alternating diarrhea and constipation).
Management of Intestinal Spasms: Used to treat similar digestive conditions such as chronic irritable colon, spastic constipation, mucous colitis, and abdominal pain caused by spasms.
Standard Adult Dose: 1 tablet taken 3 times a day (morning, noon, and night).
Dose Reduction: Once your symptoms start to improve after a few weeks, your doctor may advise you to gradually reduce the frequency of the doses.
Note: Meverine 135mg tablets are generally not recommended for children and adolescents under the age of 18.
