Fungidal-HC Cream is a dual-action topical formulation containing Miconazole Nitrate ($2\% \text{ w/w}$) and Hydrocortisone ($1\% \text{ w/w}$). Miconazole acts as a broad-spectrum antifungal that destroys fungal cell membranes, while Hydrocortisone is a mild corticosteroid that reduces localized swelling, itching, and redness.
Treatment of superficial fungal skin infections (like athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm) where severe inflammation, redness, or itching is present
Management of inflamed cutaneous candidiasis (intertrigo or sweat rash)
Relief from eczematous flare-ups complicated by secondary fungal infections
Application: Apply a thin layer to the clean, completely dry affected area 1 to 2 times daily.
Administration: Gently massage into the skin. Wash hands thoroughly before and after application to prevent spreading the infection.
Duration: Typically used for a maximum of 7 days to clear the acute inflammation. If the fungal infection persists, therapy may be switched to a plain antifungal cream (without hydrocortisone) as directed by your doctor.
Use strictly as prescribed. Do not cover with occlusive dressings unless advised by a physician.
Mild, temporary burning, stinging, or irritation at the application site
Local skin dryness or peeling
Risk of skin thinning (atrophy) or stretch marks if overused on sensitive areas like the face, groin, or underarms for extended periods
