FIMOXYCLAV-1.2gm (1gm+200mg)/20ml IV Injection contains Amoxicillin 1 g + Clavulanic Acid 200 mg. It is a penicillin-class antibiotic combined with a beta-lactamase inhibitor used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections by stopping bacterial growth and overcoming antibiotic resistance caused by beta-lactamase enzymes.

Uses:

Treatment of moderate to severe bacterial infections.
Treatment of respiratory tract infections (such as pneumonia, sinusitis, and bronchitis).
Treatment of urinary tract infections (UTIs).
Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections.
Treatment of bone and joint infections.
Treatment of intra-abdominal infections.
Prevention and treatment of infections after surgery (as prescribed).

Dose:

Adults: Usually 1.2 g (Amoxicillin 1 g + Clavulanic Acid 200 mg) every 8 hours by IV injection/infusion, or as directed by a physician.
Dose may be adjusted in patients with kidney problems.
Administer only by a healthcare professional through intravenous injection or infusion.
