Bevicort Inhaler is a triple-combination inhalation therapy containing Formoterol Fumarate ($5.5\text{ mcg}$), Glycopyrronium Bromide ($10.4\text{ mcg}$), and Budesonide ($182\text{ mcg}$) per puff. It combines a long-acting beta2-agonist (LABA) to relax airways, a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) to prevent bronchospasms, and an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) to reduce lung inflammation.
Maintenance treatment for patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema
Reduction of COPD exacerbations (flare-ups)
Maintenance therapy for severe asthma where a combination of a bronchodilator and an inhaled corticosteroid is appropriate
Adults: The standard maintenance dose is typically 2 inhalations (puffs) twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening.
Children: Not recommended for pediatric use unless explicitly prescribed by a specialist.
