Description:
COLASA 1gm Suppository contains Mesalazine (Mesalamine) 1 g. It is an anti-inflammatory medicine (5-aminosalicylic acid) used to treat inflammation in the rectum and lower part of the colon.
Uses:
Ulcerative proctitis
Distal ulcerative colitis
Proctosigmoiditis
Helps maintain remission of ulcerative colitis
Dose:
Usually 1 suppository (1 g) once daily at bedtime or as directed by a doctor.
Insert rectally after bowel emptying if possible.
Retain the suppository for as long as possible, preferably overnight.
Use regularly for the prescribed duration.
