VORIZOL Suspension contains Voriconazole 200 mg/5 ml, a broad-spectrum antifungal medicine used to treat serious fungal infections.
Voriconazole is a triazole antifungal that works by blocking ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. This weakens and destroys fungal cells, helping to control and eliminate infection.
Invasive aspergillosis (serious lung fungal infection)
Severe Candida infections (including blood and esophagus)
Fungal infections in immunocompromised patients
Infections caused by resistant fungi like Scedosporium and Fusarium
Hospital or chemotherapy-related fungal infections
Adults (usual maintenance dose):
