CEFAZID 1 gm/vial IM/IV Injection contains Ceftazidime 1 gm. It is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used for the treatment of bacterial infections.

Uses:

Treatment of respiratory tract infections including pneumonia
Treatment of urinary tract infections
Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections
Treatment of bone, joint, blood, and other serious bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms

Dose:

Usually 1–2 gm every 8–12 hours by IV or IM injection, or as prescribed by the physician
