ZOLIDON 400 mg is a tablet containing linezolid 400 mg. It is an oxazolidinone class antibiotic used to treat serious bacterial infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive bacteria.

Uses:

Treatment of pneumonia caused by susceptible bacteria
Treatment of complicated and uncomplicated skin and soft tissue infections
Treatment of infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus (including MRSA)
Treatment of vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE) infections
Treatment of other serious Gram-positive bacterial infections

Dose:

Adults: Usually 400–600 mg every 12 hours depending on the type and severity of infection, or as directed by a physician
May be taken with or without food
Complete the full course of treatment as prescribed
Dose and duration depend on the patient's condition and response to treatment
