MUPITOP 2% Ointment 10gm contains Mupirocin 2% w/w. It is a topical antibiotic used to treat bacterial skin infections by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis and preventing bacterial growth.

Uses:

Treatment of impetigo.
Treatment of infected cuts, wounds, and abrasions caused by susceptible bacteria.
Treatment of infected eczema and other superficial skin infections.
Helps prevent the spread of bacterial skin infections.
Used for localized skin infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Dose:

Apply a small amount to the affected area 2–3 times daily or as directed by a physician.
Clean and dry the affected area before application.
Wash hands before and after applying the ointment (unless treating the hands).
Use for the full prescribed duration, even if symptoms improve.
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and inside the nose unless specifically prescribed.
