REZOR 40mg Tablet contains Rosuvastatin 40 mg. It is a statin (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor) medicine used to reduce cholesterol levels in the blood by decreasing cholesterol production in the liver. It helps lower the risk of cardiovascular complications by controlling abnormal lipid levels.

Uses:

Treatment of high cholesterol (hyperlipidemia).
Reduction of LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglyceride levels.
Increase of HDL (good cholesterol) levels.
Treatment of mixed dyslipidemia.
Prevention of heart attack and stroke in patients at high cardiovascular risk.
Management of inherited high cholesterol conditions (such as familial hypercholesterolemia) under medical supervision.

Dose:

Adults: Usually 5–40 mg once daily as directed by a physician. The 40 mg dose is generally reserved for patients who do not achieve target cholesterol levels with lower doses.
Take the tablet once daily, with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
Regular monitoring of lipid profile and liver function may be required.
Inform the doctor if you experience unexplained muscle pain, weakness, or dark-colored urine.
Do not stop or change the dose without medical advice.
