PROFEN 100 ml SYRUP is an oral suspension containing ibuprofen. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and lower fever.
Uses:
- Relief of fever
- Relief of mild to moderate pain
- Treatment of toothache
- Relief of headache
- Treatment of musculoskeletal pain
- Relief of pain associated with sprains and strains
- Reduction of inflammation
Dose:
- Children: Usually 5–10 mg/kg per dose every 6–8 hours as needed, or as directed by a physician
- Adults: Use the tablet or capsule formulation unless otherwise directed by a physician
- Do not exceed the recommended daily dose
- Shake the bottle well before use
- Use the provided measuring cup or oral syringe for accurate dosing
