RONEM 1 gm IV INJ. contains Meropenem 1 g. It is a broad-spectrum carbapenem antibiotic used to treat serious bacterial infections by stopping the growth of susceptible bacteria.

Uses:

Treatment of severe bacterial infections
Management of pneumonia, including hospital-acquired pneumonia
Treatment of intra-abdominal infections
Treatment of urinary tract infections (UTI) caused by susceptible bacteria
Treatment of meningitis (as prescribed)
Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections
Used for infections caused by resistant bacteria

Dose:

Adults: Usually 500 mg–1 g intravenously every 8 hours or as directed by a physician.
Dose may be adjusted based on the type and severity of infection and kidney function.
Administered by intravenous injection/infusion by a qualified healthcare professional.
