NEXDEX 60mg Capsule contains Dexlansoprazole 60 mg. It is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) medicine used to reduce stomach acid production by blocking the acid-producing pumps in the stomach lining.

Uses:

Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
Healing of erosive esophagitis.
Maintenance of healing of erosive esophagitis and prevention of recurrence.
Relief of heartburn and acid reflux symptoms.
Treatment of other acid-related stomach disorders as prescribed.

Dose:

Adults: Usually 60 mg once daily or as directed by a physician.
Can be taken with or without food.
Swallow the capsule whole. If needed, the capsule may be opened and the granules sprinkled on a spoonful of applesauce without chewing, as directed by a healthcare professional.
