MOXILOCIN XG 0.5%+0.4% Eye Drop 5ml contains Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride 0.5% + Xanthan Gum 0.4%. It is an ophthalmic antibacterial medicine used for the treatment of bacterial eye infections. Moxifloxacin works by inhibiting bacterial growth, while Xanthan Gum helps increase the contact time of the medicine on the eye surface.
Uses:
- Treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis (eye infection/eye redness).
- Treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms.
- Helps reduce symptoms associated with bacterial eye infection such as redness, irritation, and discharge.
Dose:
- Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily for 7 days or as directed by a physician.
- Wash hands before use.
- Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface.
- Complete the full course of treatment as prescribed.
