ZELANEX 0.05% EYE DROP 5 ML contains Azelastine Hydrochloride 0.05%. It is an antihistamine (H1-receptor antagonist) eye drop used for the treatment and prevention of allergic conjunctivitis.

Uses:

Treatment of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis.
Prevention of symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis.
Relief of itchy, red, and watery eyes caused by allergies.
Treatment of perennial (non-seasonal) allergic conjunctivitis in appropriate patients.

Dose:

Instill 1 drop into each affected eye twice daily, or as prescribed by a physician.
If necessary, the dose may be increased to 1 drop up to 4 times daily.
Wash your hands before use and avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface.
The duration of treatment should be determined by the treating physician and generally should not exceed 6 weeks for a single treatment course.
