ALGIN 10mg/5ml Suspension 50ml contains Tiemonium Methylsulfate 10 mg/5 ml. It is an antispasmodic (anticholinergic) medicine used to relieve pain caused by spasms of the digestive, biliary, urinary, and uterine smooth muscles.

Uses:

Relief of abdominal cramps and intestinal spasms
Treatment of biliary tract spasms and biliary colic
Relief of urinary tract and bladder spasms
Management of painful uterine spasms and dysmenorrhea

Dose:

Usually taken as prescribed by the physician according to age and condition
Adults: Typically 3 to 9 teaspoonfuls daily in divided doses
Children: Dose is adjusted according to body weight and physician's recommendation
