POLYCEF 125mg/5ml Pediatric Drop 15ml contains Cephradine 125 mg/5 ml. It is a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in infants and young children by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis and preventing bacterial growth.

Uses:

Treatment of ear, nose, and throat (ENT) infections, including otitis media, tonsillitis, and pharyngitis.
Treatment of respiratory tract infections.
Treatment of urinary tract infections (UTIs).
Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections.
Treatment of other susceptible bacterial infections as prescribed by a physician.

Dose:

Infants and children: Dose is based on body weight, usually 25–50 mg/kg/day in divided doses every 6–12 hours, or as directed by a physician.
Shake the bottle well before each use.
Measure the dose accurately using the supplied dropper.
Can be taken with or without food.
Complete the full course of treatment even if symptoms improve.
Do not stop or change the dose without medical advice.
